    Description

2012 Dunkin Donuts Massachusetts 12 Ounce Coffee Mug Cup w/ Famous Landmarks, including American Hero Paul Revere, Prudential Tower Boston, Six Flags Roller Coaster, Cape Cod Canal, The Bourne Bridge of Cape Cod, Pilgrim Monument (Province Town Tower), Smith & Wollensky Steak House Boston, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Dome (M.I.T. Dome), A Clipper Ship, and of course Sea Gulls.  Dunkin Donuts was founded in 1950 by William Rosenburg in Quincy, Massachusetts.  Quincy is known as the "City of Presidents", as two United States Presidents came from Quincy, and their homes are preserved there.  Today Dunkin is one of the largest coffee and baked goods companies in the world, having 11,300 restaurants in 36 countries.
    Another little known fun
    fact
    is the
M.I.T. Dome's roof had a stolen M.I.T. police car disassembled and reassembled over night on the roof of the dome
as a student prank.  The dome is 150 feet high.  This police car is now in the M.I.T. Museum.  It had coffee and donuts on the dashboard when police arrived, along with flashing lights hooked up!  M.I.T. is also known for producing the famous M.I.T. Black Jack Team which cost Las Vegas millions before they finally figured it out.  There is presently a book out about their endeavor, which became well known in the gaming and casino circles.  If you know some of the background on this mug, it is a rather interesting one.  Thanks for looking!
