(My earliest memories are going w/ my father once in a while to the foundry(when his welding tanks needed refilling)I'd wait patiently in his old beat up work truck knowing after the foundry stop, just a few feet away was the first KRISPY KREME in my hometown.
He ALWAYS let me pick my own donut-just one - while he drank his coffee from a mug like this one and talked with the waitress. My fav part was when he picked me up to look thru the HUGE windows while they made the donuts..all going round and round.)
