VINTAGE - NEW WITH TAG - DELTON PORCELAIN TEA SET - MINIATURE - 13 PIECE - SNOWMAN SNOWGIRL - RED PLAID BOX
Vintage - New with tag
Sweet little Delton miniature porcelain tea set - 13 pieces - in red plaid box
Adorable design of a snowman and snowgirl holding a bright yellow star - little yellow stars are sprinkled on their bodies - bright colors!
Tea set consists of:
Teapot with lid
Sugar bowl with lid
Creamer
2 cups with saucers
2 plates
2 spoons
Teapot, sugar bowl, and teacups have a pretty scalloped rim - spoons are embellished with a sweet little yellow star at tip of handle - plates and saucers have a subtle starburst pattern
A few approximate measurements:
Teacup: 2" outer diameter at opening
Saucer: 3-1/4" diameter
Plate: 3-5/8" diameter
Beautiful padded box holds your tea set for storage - interior of box is lined with red and white gingham fabric - elastic on interior lid is designed to hold dishes, etc. in place - exterior of box is also fabric in a pretty plaid print of red, green, blue, yellow, and black - nice reinforced fabric handle on top - reinforced fabric flap on front with black metal snap--there are some scratches on the metal snap - top of lid is slightly padded -
plates and saucers want to fall forward as the lid is closed due to age of elastic--tissue or bubble wrap will be placed between lid and bottom of box to prevent breakage and ensure safe shipping
Note from Delton regarding tea set is included--as mentioned in the note, there are some dark specks on some of the pieces--there are also the typical bubbles and dimples as found in porcelain pieces
Set was removed from the box for photos only - it has never been used
