Woodrow Wilson Birthplace, Staunton, VA Postcard

Description

This house was built in 1846-47 and was the birthplace of Woodrow Wilson, President of the US from 1913-1921. The lower room to the left in which Mr. Wilson first saw light, Dec. 28, 1856, has been marked with a bronze tablet by the Daughters of the American Revolution. The linen card is in good condition, aging on the back, with wear on the corners.
